Getting ready for the new year we look at ways to plan, try to understand the limitations of planning, and investigate how the context in which we want to deliver our plan might have changed. Whilst we may be spoilt for choice when choosing from a huge array of planning apps and project management tools – do they help or hinder the delivery of our intentions?
Are there better ways to deliver requirements, and acknowledge but not necessarily always accept/understand that change can be useful, if not essential? Is having the courage to change what matters most?
The art of listening and responding to what is needed is a life skill. Is it through our desire to succeed that we often forget to listen and respond to everything we do and not just within the projects we manage or are involved in? How do you plan, and how do you manage to change a plan, and still look like you know what you are doing?
