We seem to be trapped into thinking that the solutions to our ecological and human issues are going to come from within our understanding of how everything works now, when in fact all we are doing is squeezing out the last dregs of potential from the technologies we discovered in the last century, if not the one before that.

Do we need to give up on sustainability as a way of thinking, and think differently? Does the idea that a regenerative approach will have a far better outcome and likelihood of success? Let’s not for example think about making cars go further on a different type of fuel, let’s think instead about a world without cars.

Let’s go to the core of what it means to be alive in a world of 7.9 billion people, with fewer resources, but with a mindset and ingenuity that will fix everything.
